Fresh ‘n Crisp Farms was founded in 2017 by a team of lettuce lovers who believes that everyone should have access to fresh, delicious, healthy and long-lasting local lettuce — grown with ZERO pesticides, preservatives or GMOs.
We had a clear vision for the perfect lettuce from the outset: Crisp, flavorful, nutrient rich lettuce with exceptional texture that is wilt-resistant. After exploring hundreds of non-GMO lettuce seeds and varieties — alas, perfection! Curly, crisp, delicious lettuce that stays mind-bogglingly fresh for 3+ weeks!!
Our hydroponic greenhouse in the Village of Boston Heights, OH, uses state-of-the-art automation and technology to ensure optimal conditions throughout the growing, cutting and packaging cycle. We designed our entire operation around the goal of delivering the freshest lettuce possible: Lettuce plants in our growing room can be harvested, cut, and packed for delivery within less than an hour. That means the Fresh ‘n Crisp lettuce you buy in stores was likely still growing in our greenhouse 1-2 days prior!
